How it works

The First Lady Chamber Programme

The programme would run over a 12-month period where businesses would attend 4 compulsory incubations to learn a specified area of business expertise in order to develop a refined workable business plan. Each incubation will have a submission based on each incubation topic and every submission will receive structured feedback to fully refine the content, ahead of the final submission of a full business plan. This will enable the female entrepreneur to clearly define objectives and goals in order to successfully scale their businesses.

All members will have access to the facilitators, who are available for assistance, for whatever the business question may be, relative to their area of expertise. The business plans will then be evaluated, based on the assessment criteria and the top performing business will then get to pitch their business idea for the final stretch of the competition. All the results will be collated and the top 3 performing business will be identified.

An annual awards ceremony will be held which will be classified as an exclusive woman in business event to showcase our members’ growth and development, as well as the celebration of women and the contributions they have made and continue to make on a daily basis. The winner will be announced and named the First Lady Business of the year!
